Tender Description
Pakistan Post invites bids for the auction of condemned motorcycles located in Rawalpindi. This procurement is managed by the Pakistan Post department and involves the sale of various used motorcycles, mostly Qingqi and Honda models, all declared condemned and unfit for regular use. The auction includes motorcycles from model years ranging from 1987 to 2009 with reserve prices listed for each vehicle. The scope covers physical inspection and bidding for these motorcycles at the designated location in Rawalpindi.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and active on the tax payers list. Participation requires submission of a Technical Bid including NTN/STN certificates, valid CNIC, driving license, and a CDR of Rs. 3000/- as earnest money. The auction follows the Single stage - one envelope procedure as per E-Pak-Procurement Regulations, 2023. The last date for submission is 22 June 2026, with bids to be submitted at the Pakistan Post office in Rawalpindi.
Eligibility criteria emphasize that bidders should not be postal employees or wholly dependent on postal employees. The auction process will evaluate the highest financial bid. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents including the CDR receipt and valid licenses are complete and attached to avoid disqualification. Early submission is advised to allow time for any clarifications or corrections.
This auction offers an opportunity for suppliers and dealers interested in acquiring used motorcycles for parts or refurbishment. The department encourages serious bidders to participate and comply fully with the tender requirements to ensure a smooth bidding process.
