Tender Description
The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) Islamabad is conducting an auction for the disposal of condemned and unserviceable vehicles and motorcycles across multiple districts including Islamabad, Peshawar, Mirpur AJK, Karachi, and others. This auction is an excellent opportunity for suppliers and buyers interested in acquiring used vehicles on an As-Is, Where-Is basis. The auction includes a variety of Suzuki Potohar Jeeps, Suzuki Bolan Vans, and CD 70 Motorcycles from different years and registration numbers. The vehicles are spread across various cities, but the primary issuing office is in Islamabad.
The technical scope involves the purchase of these vehicles without any warranty or guarantee. Bidders must inspect the vehicles themselves as no claims will be entertained post-auction. Each vehicle is treated as a separate lot, and the auction will be conducted under the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and PPRA Regulations for disposal of public assets. Earnest Money is required for each vehicle (Rs. 50,000) and motorcycle (Rs. 5,000) in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt or Pay Order in favor of NCHD. Bidders must submit a single envelope bid including the bid form, CNIC/NTN, bid security, and affidavit of non-blacklisting.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be Pakistani individuals, firms, or companies with valid CNIC/NTN and active taxpayer status (ATL). Blacklisted entities are not eligible. The auction will be held on 4th June 2026 with bid submission deadline at 2:00 PM and bid opening at 2:30 PM at the NCHD Head Office Islamabad. Bidders should note that late bids will be rejected and must ensure all documents and bid security are complete to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly inspect the vehicles before bidding to avoid any surprises, as the sale is strictly on an As-Is, Where-Is basis. Also, ensure the Earnest Money is submitted correctly to prevent bid rejection. This auction offers a unique chance to acquire vehicles at competitive prices, but attention to detail and compliance with submission requirements is crucial for success.
