NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) is conducting an auction of Defence Stores scrap on 07 Oct 2026 at their Taxila Cantonment premises starting at 08:00 AM. Items being auctioned include: - Iron Scrap - Location 01 - Iron Scrap - Location 02 - Iron Scrap - Location 03 - Iron Shaving - Location 01 - Iron Shaving - Location 02 - Aluminum Scrap - Location 01 - Aluminum Scrap - Location 02 - Aluminum Shaving - Steel Scrap - Brass Scrap - Brass Shaving - Copper Scrap - Leather Scrap - Plastic Scrap - Wooden Scrap - IT Scrap - Rubber Scrap - Cotton / Cloth Scrap - Fiber Scrap - Used Oil (27/20) - Steel Drums (200 Lit) - Batteries – Various Type - Tyres all Type - Machinery – Various Type The auction requires successful bidders to deposit 25% of the bid amount in cash at the time of bidding. The remaining 75% along with applicable General Sales Tax and Income Tax must be paid within 10 days. Failure to pay the balance will result in cancellation of the lot allotment and forfeiture of the initial deposit. Removal of all scrap must be completed within 15 days at the bidder's own expense. Costs related to weighing trucks and demilitarization will also be borne by the successful bidders. The Chairman HIT Board reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason.
