Auction of Industrial Waste Material at Karachi Export Processing Zone

The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) Karachi invites interested firms and parties to participate in a public auction for the sale of industrial waste and used clothing material located at Dump Yard no:6 on an "AS IS WHERE IS BASIS". The auction will be held on 18-08-2026 at 2:30 pm at Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi. Items being procured: - Industrial waste material - Used Clothing material - Used Textile Clothing The industrial waste lying in the dumping area can be inspected during office hours from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on any working day prior to the auction. The auction is conducted under Public Notice No:8/2002-EXP(HQ) dated 06-11-2002. Participation requires submission of a non-refundable participation fee of Rs:15,000 per lot by 17-08-2026. Only registered firms/participants will be allowed to participate. The successful bidder must deposit an additional 35% EPZA share on the highest approved bid and 10% Advance Withholding Tax as per clause#236A of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001. A 25% advance payment is required immediately upon declaration of success on the spot. Remaining bid amount along with 10% Advance Withholding Tax and 35% EPZA share must be paid before lifting the industrial waste. The successful bidder must remove all material from the dumping area within 7 working days. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of earnest money and re-auction of the dump yard. No sorting or segregation of material is allowed before or after award of work. The auction terms emphasize strict compliance with timelines and payment schedules.
