AUCTION: Furniture, Fixtures, Electrical and Office Appliances by United Bank Limited

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. United Bank Limited Karachi invites interested parties to participate in the auction of various items including furniture, fixtures, electrical and office appliances, and other scrap items. The auction will be held at UBL Tower Parking Plot, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. Items being auctioned include: - Furniture - Fixtures - Electrical appliances - Office appliances - Other scrap items Tender forms are available at the same location for PKR 1,000 (non-refundable). Completed tenders must be submitted at UBL, 5th Floor, SLICO Building #1, Karachi, along with a Pay Order for 10% of the offered amount as refundable earnest money by 5:00 pm on Thursday, 08 October 2026. The bids will be opened on Friday, 09 October 2026, at 3:00 pm at the UBL Tower Parking Plot. The successful bidder must pay the total bid amount within 3 working days and collect the auctioned items within the following 7 working days. UBL employees are not allowed to participate in this bidding, directly or indirectly. Offers are invited on an "as is where is" basis. The bank will not be liable for any claim after bid opening. UBL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders or cancel the auction without assigning any reason. Pay Orders of unsuccessful bidders will be returned within 3 days of bid opening. As per Finance Act 2019, advance tax of 10% of the sale price will be collected from successful bidders who are filers, and 20% from non-filers, in addition to the bid price. The tax will be deposited in the Government Treasury. Bidders should ensure timely submission of bids and arrange for earnest money as per instructions. Inspecting the items on 06, 07, and 08 October 2026 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the auction site is recommended to assess the condition and value of items before bidding.
