AUCTION: Mining Lease of Minor Minerals District Kohat as Individual Blocks

The District Auction Committee of District Kohat invites registered contractors of Minor Minerals to participate in the auction for the grant of Minor Mineral Mining lease as individual blocks of District Kohat, excluding the blocks/areas of Chorlakki, Khushkal Ghar, Dhok Shahbaz and Kamar. The lease is offered for a period of one (01) year on an 'As is where is' basis at the office of Deputy Commissioner, Kohat. Interested parties must be registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals Contractors and submit a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 10,000 at least three days before the auction. Call deposits must be deposited under specified Bank of Khyber accounts. Applicants must also submit attested copies of CNIC, NTN, partnership deed or memorandum of association, and evidence of paid-up capital if applicable. The successful bidder must deposit one-fourth of the total bid money as security within three days of the auction and demarcate the leased area within fifteen days at their own expense. They are also responsible for paying excise duty, withholding tax, and surface rent as per applicable laws. Only verified challans for transportation of minerals are allowed, and unauthorized transportation will be penalized. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid with cogent reason.
