AUCTION: Lease of Shops and Canteens at UET Lahore Narowal Campus

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Narowal Campus, is inviting sealed bids for the lease of various shops and canteens located within the campus premises for a period of three years. This opportunity is open to experienced and reputable individuals or firms interested in operating commercial outlets at a prominent educational institution in Narowal. The auction covers a range of shop types and canteen spaces, each with a specified area and earnest money requirement. Items being auctioned: - Canteen (Block A, 9000 sq ft) - Fresh Fruits and Juice/Cold Beverage Shop (Block A, 13 x 10 sq ft) - General Store (Block A, 13 x 10 sq ft) - Laundry Shop (Block C, 18 x 12 sq ft) - Photocopy Shop (Block C, 18 x 12 sq ft) - Crockery Shop (Block C, 18 x 12 sq ft) Each outlet has a fixed earnest money requirement: Canteen Rs. 21,600; all other shops Rs. 3,600 each. The successful bidder will be required to deposit the earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of Treasurer, UET Lahore. The annual lease amount will be determined through open competitive bidding, and a 10% annual increment will apply to the lease amount for subsequent years. Bids must be submitted by 10:00 AM on 30 September 2026 at the office of the Campus Coordinator, UET Lahore Narowal Campus. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Only those registered with GST/PST/PRA and holding a valid NTN are eligible to participate. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. A practical tip: Ensure your CDR is correctly prepared and attached, as incomplete earnest money documentation will result in immediate disqualification.
