AUCTION: Timber Extraction Rights from Neelum Forest Compartments 2026-27

The Neelum Forest Division, under the Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, invites sealed bids for the auction of timber extraction rights from various forest compartments for the financial year 2026-27. The auction will be conducted at the office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Neelum, on 23 October 2026 at 2:30 PM. Items being auctioned: - Compartment 08, Sharda: Kail 130,000 cft, Deodar 5,000 cft, Fir 214,911 cft, Period: 2 years - Compartment 16, Sharda: Kail 35,000 cft, Deodar 5,000 cft, Fir 104,277 cft, Period: 1.5 years - Compartment 12, Dudhnial: Kail 105,000 cft, Deodar 5,000 cft, Fir 267,849 cft, Period: 3 years - Compartment 14, Dudhnial: Kail 1,500 cft, Deodar 5,000 cft, Fir 14,679 cft, Period: 1 year - Compartment 14, Dudhnial: Fir 5,129 cft, Period: 1 year - Compartment 07, Athmuqam: Fir 38,498 cft, Period: 1 year Each lot specifies the compartment, timber species (Kail, Deodar, Fir), quantity in cubic feet, and the extraction period. Reserve prices and earnest money requirements are detailed in the notice. Bidders must submit a CDR/pay order equivalent to 2% of the reserve price as earnest money along with their bids. Only registered timber contractors with valid licenses and compliance with PPRA rules are eligible to participate. The successful bidder will be responsible for all applicable taxes, including GST, and must adhere to the extraction and transportation guidelines set by the Forest Department. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes at the office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Neelum, by the deadline. The auction will be conducted in the presence of bidders.
