Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The World Food Programme (WFP) is inviting sealed bids for the auction of used tyres and various scrap items currently stored at its warehouses in Multan, Muzaffargarh, and Dera Ghazi Khan. This auction presents an opportunity for interested buyers to acquire surplus and unserviceable items from a reputable international organization. The auction lots are distributed across three warehouse locations, and all items will be sold on an as-is-where-is basis.
Items being auctioned:
- Used tyres and scrap items at WFP Warehouse Multan
- Used tyres and scrap items at WFP Warehouse Muzaffargarh
- Used tyres and scrap items at WFP Warehouse Dera Ghazi Khan
Each warehouse contains a separate lot of used tyres and miscellaneous scrap, which may include metal, rubber, and other unserviceable materials. Interested parties are encouraged to inspect the items at the respective warehouse locations before submitting their bids. The auction will be conducted through sealed bids, and all offers must be submitted with a pay order or deposit slip equivalent to 10 percent of the bid amount in favour of WFP Pakistan Imprest Account. This earnest money is mandatory for bid consideration.
Bids must be submitted by 18 October 2026. The highest bidders for each lot will be notified after the evaluation process. All bidders should ensure their bid envelopes are clearly marked as Sealed Bid for Auction and submitted to the designated WFP contact. For further details or to arrange an inspection, contact the numbers provided in the notice.
A practical tip: Visit the warehouse in person to assess the condition and quantity of the scrap items before bidding, as all sales are final and no claims will be entertained after the auction.
