Prequalification of Auto Workshops for Repair and Maintenance of Official Vehicles

The Press Information Department, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, is inviting prequalification proposals from reputable, experienced, and tax-compliant authorized service providers, Auto Workshops, Firms, and contractors for the repair and maintenance of official vehicles, motorcycles, and scooters during the Financial Year 2026–2027. This procurement is specifically for the Islamabad office but requires service provision nationwide as and when required. Items being procured: - Repair and maintenance of official vehicles - Motorcycles and scooters maintenance - Battery replacement - Tyre replacement - Puncture services - Air-conditioning maintenance - Oil change - Car polishing - Related maintenance work on a need basis The technical scope includes comprehensive vehicle maintenance services covering mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic repairs. The service providers must have established operational offices in all major cities including Islamabad. The tender requires firms to be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for both Income Tax and Sales Tax. Registration on the PPRA e-PADS 2.0 portal is mandatory. A security deposit of Rs. 100,000 in the form of a Pay Order in favor of the Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Press Information Department, Islamabad, must be uploaded with the proposal. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted. The deadline for submission is July 29, 2025, by 11:00 PM through the e-PADS 2.0 portal only. Late submissions will be rejected. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason as per PPRA rules. The quoted rates must remain valid up to June 30, 2027. Eligibility criteria include valid NTN, Sales Tax Registration, AGPR Vendor Number, and IBAN details. Blacklisted firms are not eligible. Bidders should ensure their proposals are complete and comply with all requirements to avoid rejection. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your e-PADS 2.0 portal registration is active and all required documents are uploaded correctly before the deadline. Technical bids must be clear and complete, and the security deposit must be properly submitted to avoid disqualification.
