Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply of aviation hoses at its Sihala Installation near Rawalpindi, Punjab. This procurement is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards at the facility. The items being procured are:
- HOSE 2 1/2" X 15' (Quantity: 5 units)
The aviation hoses must comply with stringent technical specifications including nominal diameter of 2.5 inches, clear length of 20 feet without fittings, hose type F, grade 2, and must meet standards EI 1522, EI 1529, EN ISO 1825 (EN 1361), and NFPA 407. Each hose shall be a single piece with durable identification labels every 2 meters containing manufacturer details, hose type, grade, serial or batch number, manufacturing quarter/year, and maximum working pressure. Every hose must be accompanied by a manufacturer or approved distributor test certificate detailing manufacturing and testing data.
The scope includes delivery within 120 days of purchase order issuance, inclusive of all government taxes and transportation charges. Inspection and acceptance will be conducted by the location engineer. Vendors must provide OEM test certificates, technical literature, and documentary evidence verifying hose originality. Manufacturing date of hoses must not exceed one year at delivery. Penalties for delayed delivery apply at 0.1% per day up to 10% of order value.
Eligible bidders should have relevant PEC categories and valid FBR/ATL registration. Experience in supplying aviation or industrial hoses is advantageous. The technical bid must include detailed product data sheets and compliance certificates.
