Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Maintain and Transfer Carbon Offset Project - Afforestation, Reforestation and Revegetation in Balochistan

The Balochistan Forest and Wildlife Department, in collaboration with the Public-Private Partnership Authority (BPPP), is procuring a comprehensive Carbon Offset Project focused on afforestation, reforestation, and revegetation (ARR) in Balochistan. This project specifically targets approximately 34.351 hectares of degraded mangrove ecosystems across the coastal districts of Gwadar, Hub, and Lasbela. The concession period spans 46 years, including 1 year for development and 45 years for operation and maintenance, reflecting a long-term commitment to environmental restoration and sustainability. The technical scope involves the design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance, and eventual transfer of the ARR project.
