Tender Document
Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy) based in Rawalpindi is inviting bids for the supply of white cloth specifically for Dress No. 1 and 2 intended for Chief Petty Officers (CPOs) and Petty Officers (POs). This procurement is a focused supply contract aimed at fulfilling the uniform requirements of the Pakistan Navy personnel stationed at the Naval Residential Complex near SNIDS Centre.
The technical scope requires suppliers to provide high-quality white cloth suitable for naval dress uniforms. The tender documents specify detailed technical requirements and compliance metrics that bidders must meet. Firms are required to submit two sets of technical offers along with earnest money and commercial offers in separate sealed envelopes. The tender emphasizes strict adherence to the technical specifications and requires submission of various forms including DP-1, DP-2, and DP-3, along with manufacturer authorization letters and price lists where applicable.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the Directorate General Defence Purchase (DGDP) and possess the necessary technical and financial capabilities. Registration with FBR and ATL is implied for compliance. The tender also requires submission of earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of CMA (DP), Rawalpindi. The tender opening date is set for 11th June 2026, with the closing date exactly one week later on 18th June 2026. Offers must be delivered to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) through Bahria Gate, Rawalpindi.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the earnest money is submitted in a separate envelope and not inside the technical or commercial offers, as improper submission may lead to disqualification. Additionally, bidders should carefully review all tender conditions and ensure all required documents and forms are duly filled and signed to avoid rejection on technical grounds.
