Tender Description
This tender invites prequalified contractors registered with income tax and sales tax departments to connect new domestic RLNG/RCC service lines for gas supply in various towns of Multan including Bosan, Shah Rukn-e-Alam, Mumtazabad, Sher Shah, and Multan Cantonment. The project involves installation of approximately 300 new domestic PE SL connections per town, ensuring reliable gas supply to residential areas under municipal corporation jurisdiction in Multan.
The scope covers civil and mechanical works related to laying and connecting RLNG/RCC service lines, requiring quality materials compliant with SNGPL standards. Contractors must address engineering challenges such as urban infrastructure constraints and coordination with local authorities to minimize disruption. The work sites are spread across multiple localities in Multan, demanding efficient project management and adherence to safety protocols.
Bidders should hold a valid PEC category relevant to gas pipeline works and must be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue for the fiscal year 2025-26. Submission of earnest money amounting to at least 2% of the bid value (excluding taxes) in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory. Technical and financial bids must comply with SNGPL's bidding instructions and documentation requirements.
The submission deadline is set for 29th January 2026 at 10:10 AM, with public bid opening on the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the General Manager Distribution Office, Piran Ghaib Road, Multan. Interested contractors can obtain bidding documents from the SNGPL Multan Regional Office upon request and payment of Rs. 1000.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required certificates and the correct earnest money amount. Missing or incomplete documentation is a common cause for disqualification. Also, verify the municipal jurisdiction for each locality to avoid submission errors.
