Tender Description

The Directorate General of Archaeology Punjab invites qualified firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and specialization BC-02 (Restoration & Conservation) to submit e-Bids through the ePADS portal for important conservation projects in Punjab. The projects include the Conservation of Historical Monuments of District Attock (Behram ki Baradari and Attock Tomb), Conservation of Monuments of 2nd Anglo Sikh War District Mindi Bahu Din, and Conservation of Taxila Railway Station. Items being procured: - Conservation of Historical Monuments of District Attock (Behram ki Baradari and Attock Tomb) with an estimated cost of Rs. 63.507 Million - Conservation of Monuments of 2nd Anglo Sikh War District Mindi Bahu Din with an estimated cost of Rs. 14.060 Million - Conservation of Taxila Railway Station with an estimated cost of Rs. 131.705 Million These projects require specialized restoration and conservation work adhering to PEC category C-5 or above for Attock, C-6 or above for Mindi Bahu Din, and C-4 or above for Taxila Railway Station. The work will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder after correction of any arithmetical errors. Bidders must deposit 5% Bid Security/Earnest Money valid for 180 days beyond the bid submission date via PSID generated by the e-P system in favor of the Director General Archaeology. Technical and financial bids must be submitted online at ep.punjab.gov.pk by 24th September 2026 at 02:00 PM, with the technical bid opening scheduled for 24th September 2026 at 02:30 PM. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 14th September 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Directorate General of Archaeology, 60-A Garden Town Lahore. Bidding documents and further details are available on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website. Firms are advised to carefully quote rates against each item of DNIT/BOQs and ensure complete submission to avoid disqualification. The procuring agency is not responsible for any failure due to technical or internet issues during e-Bid submission. Only bids submitted in the relevant lot will be accepted for evaluation. For bidders, it is crucial to ensure timely online submission and to attend the pre-bid meeting to clarify any technical queries.
