Construction of CC Street at Village Allah Bachayo Hingoro, Soomar Khalifo & Muhammad Eidan Samoon, UC Chatto Chand, District Council Thatta

The District Council Thatta invites bids for the construction of a cement concrete (CC) street at Village Allah Bachayo Hingoro, Soomar Khalifo & Muhammad Eidan Samoon, UC Chatto Chand, Thatta. This procurement is managed by the District Engineer office at District Council Thatta, Makli. The project involves substantial civil works including earth excavation, sub-grade preparation, and laying of cement concrete with surface finishing. Items being procured: - Preparing sub grade including earth excavation or filling to an average depth of 9" dressing to camber and consolidation with power roller (7,800 P% Sft) - Cement concrete brick or stone ballast 1 1/2" to 2" gauge (2,574 P/ Cft) - Providing and laying topping of cement concrete (1:2:4) including surface finishing and dividing into panels, 3" thick (7,800 P/ Sft) The technical scope requires execution in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided by the Executive Engineer. The contractor must ensure quality workmanship and use approved materials. The site is located in Thatta district, and the work must be completed within 90 days from the written order to commence. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in the relevant category, NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, professional tax certificate, and a minimum of five years relevant experience. Firms must demonstrate a turnover of 2 to 4 million PKR over the last three years and provide documentary evidence of similar completed works. An affidavit confirming no blacklisting or litigation is mandatory. The firm must also have the necessary machinery and equipment available. Bids must be submitted by 09:30 AM on 20-10-2026 at the office of the District Engineer, District Council Thatta, Makli. The bid opening will follow at 10:00 AM the same day. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost (Rs. 113,975) is required. The contract includes clauses for liquidated damages, extension of time, and quality control.
