Tender Description

The Public Works Department (PWD) Highways Division Mirpur Azad Jammu & Kashmir is procuring construction, improvement, reconditioning, and black topping of approximately 30 kilometers of link roads in Mirpur District. This tender covers multiple road segments including link roads Baloh to Choch, Qasim to Kathar, Thub Chanar to Dudyal Shell Pump, and others within the LA-1 to LA-4 constituencies of Mirpur. The scope involves construction, metalling, and black topping of roads ranging from 0.5 km to 4 km in length, ensuring improved connectivity and road quality in the region. Eligible bidders must be licensed contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and have endorsement in C&W Govt AJK for FY 2025-26. The required contractor firm category ranges from C-4 to C-8 and above depending on the specific road segment. Firms must also be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL).
