Tender Description
The Punjab Highways Department invites tenders from registered Engineering Firms and Contractors for multiple road rehabilitation and improvement projects in Multan. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 and registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk). Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System in favor of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Multan. Physical bid securities will not be accepted.
Items being procured:
- Beautification / Rehabilitation / Improvement of Jalalpur - Lodhran Road, Permit Chowk to Dawa Chowk, Gillani Expressway (Length: 2.80 km)
- Rehabilitation of Metalled Road Grid Station Basti Malook to BHU Basti Malook, Tehsil Saddar, Multan (Length: 1.60 km)
- Rehabilitation/Improvement of Metalled Road Shujabad Basti Malook Road to Rana Wahin via Traggah, Length = 3.40 Km
- Rehabilitation / Improvement of Metalled Road Tibba Salab Abad to Fatima More Tehsil Saddar, Multan Length = 3.60 Km

The scope includes use of concrete batching plants and concrete paving machines for rigid pavement and RCC drain work, mechanized TST/DST surfacing, and electronic submission of claims through the Digital Measurement Book. Bidders must quote item rates and total amounts for each item. Performance Guarantee of 10% of contract amount is required from the lowest evaluated bidder.
The tender opening will be held at the office of the Commissioner Multan Division, Multan. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the Punjab e-Procurement System guidelines and ensure all documents are authentic to avoid disqualification. Recovery against credit of old material will be adjusted manually.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration is valid for the current financial year and submit your bid security digitally as physical securities are not accepted. This will avoid disqualification and delays in your bid evaluation.
