Construction of Interconnecting Road from Shaikh Abdul Majeed Sindhi Hostel towards Newly Constructed 150 Boys Hostel at MUET Jamshoro

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro invites bids from eligible contractors/firms for the construction of an interconnecting road from Shaikh Abdul Majeed Sindhi Hostel towards the newly constructed 150 Boys Hostel at MUET, Jamshoro. This tender is part of the university's ongoing infrastructure development to improve campus connectivity and facilities. Items being procured: - Construction of interconnecting road from Shaikh Abdul Majeed Sindhi Hostel towards newly constructed 150 Boys Hostel - Construction of approach road of new 150 Girls Hostel - Construction of boundary wall of new 150 Girls Hostel - Replacement of overhead line with underground cable LT of 95 mm2 at Mechatronics Department & Workshop - Replacement of main drainage line of old Girls Hostels and Senior Staff Residence Colony including manholes - Providing & laying of 11 KV HT Cable, LT Cable & 100 KVA Pad Mount Transformer for Squash Court Building - Interior partitioning and basic infrastructure development of National Center of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (NCNN) The scope includes civil works such as excavation, concrete works, brickwork, plastering, paving blocks flooring, steel reinforcement fabrication, earthworks for road embankment, and electrical works including cable laying and transformer installation. The works are to be executed at MUET Jamshoro campus with a completion period ranging from 1 to 12 months depending on the lot. Bidders must be registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board as active taxpayers, registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category, and not blacklisted by any procuring agency. A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar works in universities or large organizations is required. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted along with the bid. Annual turnover requirements vary per lot, ranging from Rs. 3 Million to Rs. 25 Million. Tender documents are available on the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's EPADS portal and MUET website upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by 28-10-2026 at 10:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at specified times for each lot in the presence of bidders' representatives. The procurement method is Single Stage One Envelope Procedure. The university reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per SPP Rules 2010.
