Construction of Lift Irrigation Schemes and Water Tanks at Darel (Halqa-17) Diamer

The Water Management & Irrigation Department Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders from eligible firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category valid up to 30th June 2027. The procurement is for the construction of lift irrigation schemes and water tanks at Darel (Halqa-17) Diamer. Items being procured: - Construction of Lift Irrigation Schemes - Construction of Water Tanks This project involves civil works related to water management infrastructure to improve irrigation facilities in the Diamer district. The scope includes construction of water tanks and lift irrigation schemes designed to enhance water supply and agricultural productivity in the area. Eligible bidders must have PEC registration for 2027 in the relevant code C6 & CE-04, renewal fee for CFY 2026-27, valid CNIC, and must provide bid security in the form of CDR from any scheduled bank of Pakistan. No litigation certificates or encumbrances should be present on the scheme. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 9,502,424 with a bid security of Rs. 285,072 and a non-refundable bidding document fee of Rs. 6,000. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Director Water Management & Irrigation Department District Diamer upon submission of a written application and original documents. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and delivered by 15th October 2026 at 11:00 AM. The bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the Treasury Challan for the bidding document fee is properly attached to avoid disqualification. Also, bidders should carefully verify all documents to avoid cancellation due to ambiguity or fake information.
