Tender Description
The Communication & Works Department, 5th Buildings Division Lahore, is inviting bids for the addition and alteration to House Karachi in Lahore. This procurement is being conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System, and all interested contractors/firms must be registered with PEC for the current financial year in the relevant category (C4 or above with specialized codes CE09, CE10). The contractor must have the required specialization code; otherwise, the bid will not be entertained.
Items being procured:
- Addition / Alteration to House Karachi (Estimated Cost: Rs. 112.699 Million, Earnest Money: Rs. 6,534,955, T.S. No. & Dated: SE No. 1180/08, 21.09.2026, Time Limit: 06-Months)
The technical scope includes comprehensive civil works for the specified property, with all works to be executed as per the approved DNIT and BOQ. The project requires contractors to have experience in similar works and to provide valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL registration, and the specified Earnest Money in the form of a CDR. The procurement will be carried out exclusively through the Punjab e-Procurement portal, and only bids submitted online will be considered. Manual bids are not accepted.
The last date for submission of technical and financial bids is 16.10.2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day. The evaluation will be conducted by the Tenders Opening Committee at the specified venue. Bidders are advised to ensure all documents are uploaded as per PPRA rules and to check the portal for any updates or clarifications.
A practical tip: Make sure your Earnest Money CDR is prepared exactly as per the instructions and uploaded before the deadline, as late or incorrectly prepared securities will lead to disqualification.
