Construction of 60 Feet Link Road and 640 Feet Link Road in Bhimber District

The Planning and Development Department Azad Jammu & Kashmir invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the construction of two separate link roads in Bhimber district under the Annual Development Programme for the financial year 2026-27. This notice covers two lots, each representing a distinct road construction project. Bidders are required to submit their proposals in accordance with the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure, ensuring both technical and financial bids are properly sealed and marked. Items being procured: - Lot 1: Construction of 60 feet link road (Bhimber) - Lot 2: Construction of 640 feet link road (Bhimber) Both projects involve earthwork, sub-base, base, and surface treatment as per the approved engineering standards. The scope includes all necessary materials, labor, and equipment for the completion of the roads. Only contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and valid for the current financial year are eligible to participate. Firms must also be registered with the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Revenue Department and be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. Earnest Money of 2% of the bid amount in the form of CDR is mandatory with each bid. Bids must be submitted to the office of the undersigned by 11:00 AM on 26 September 2026. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained. For best results, ensure all supporting documents, including PEC license, tax certificates, and work experience, are up to date and attached.
