Tender Description

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) invites experienced and reputable contracting firms to participate in the construction of recharge wells and sewerage connection works at Qainchi, Lahore. This project involves the construction of recharge wells at CBD Route 47 and desilting of ADA Nullah along with sewerage connection works, ensuring improved water management and sanitation infrastructure in the area. Firms must hold a valid PEC license under category C-5 and above, including specialized codes such as CE-09 and CE-10, demonstrating their capability to handle civil and water supply works. Registration with FBR and ATL is mandatory, and firms should have proven experience in similar nature projects to qualify for participation. The tender follows the Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure as per PCBDDA Procurement Regulations, 2024. Tender documents can be downloaded from PCBDDA’s official website for information purposes. Complete tender documents with detailed specifications and terms can be obtained from the Procurement Directorate Office of PCBDDA upon payment of the tender fee of Rs. 25,000 via Pay Order, CDR, or Demand Draft in favor of PCBDDA. Bids must include a bid security of PKR 1,000,000 in the form of an original bank guarantee or equivalent issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan. Sealed bids clearly marked with the name of work must be submitted to the Director Procurement, PCBDDA, CBD Complex (Old Walton Airport), near Naval Base, Lt (Navy) Yasir Shaheed Road, Lahore on or before the deadline of July 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Late submissions will be rejected without opening. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the bid security is properly issued by a scheduled bank and submitted in original form, as non-compliance will lead to disqualification. Also, carefully review the technical and financial bid requirements to avoid common pitfalls in the two-envelope system.
