Tender Description
District Council Lodhran invites sealed bids through E-Procurement from contractors enlisted or renewed for the current financial year 2026-27 with Pakistan Engineering Council. The bidding follows the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bids must include bid security attached via the E-Procurement process.
Items being procured:
- Construction of Carpet Road from DC Office to Children Park via Ghalla Mandi & Majid Hotel Link Road, Lodhran Length = 0.80 km
- Rehabilitation of Stadium Road from Multan Road to Nalay Wali Masjid (0.35 Km) and Installation of Street Lights on Bhatta Khamesa Road from Bypass Road to Multan Road via Stadium Road length = 1.75 Km
- Beautification of Canal Road (Both sides) from Lodhran–Bahawalpur-Khanewal Road to Railway Line. Length = 1.02 Km
- Installation of Street Lights on Main Roads within Dunyapur City
- Beautification & Upgradation of Qasim Park, Kehror Pacca City
These works involve road construction, rehabilitation, beautification, and installation of street lighting under joint local government authority supervision. Contractors must ensure quality control tests at their own expense and submit GPS-tagged photographs of daily work progress. Sub-work orders will be issued as needed by concerned DDOs.
Eligibility requires contractors enlisted with PEC for the current financial year and compliance with PPRA rules. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost is mandatory. The bid documents are downloadable free from the PPRA website and E-Procurement portal.
The bid submission deadline is 7th November 2026 by 12:00 PM via E-Procurement, with bid opening at 12:30 PM the same day in the District Council Lodhran office.
A practical tip for bidders: Carefully review the PPRA rules section 25(7) and ensure your bid security is properly attached in the E-Procurement system to avoid disqualification. Early submission is advised to handle any technical issues on the portal.
