Construction and Repair Works Including B&R and Supply of Materials at Malir Cantt

The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification and tender issuance for various construction and repair works at Malir Cantt, Karachi. The scope includes provision of certain facilities, construction of miscellaneous and minor works, repair, renovation, and maintenance of residential and non-residential buildings within the area of responsibility. Specific works include B&R (Building and Road) works at multiple zones (A, B, C) and DC (Drainage and Civil) works, as well as electrical and mechanical works at designated zones. Additionally, supply of bazar materials for B&R and E&M items is required. Eligible contractors must be enlisted with MES in categories A, B, C, D, or E and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Firms not on the approved MES list must provide certificates and statements of previous experience for the last two years. Registration with FBR and ATL compliance is implied for government contracts. The tender documents will be issued only to scrutinized contractors who meet the experience and special conditions. The tender process is managed by the Garrison Engineer (Army) II Malir office in Karachi. Tender documents will be issued from 21 May 2026. The submission deadline is 25 May 2026 by 11:30 AM, with opening at 12:00 PM on the same day. Earnest Money and CDR requirements will be detailed in the tender documents. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical and financial credentials are complete and submitted early to avoid disqualification. Pay close attention to the PEC category and experience requirements, as only qualified contractors will be issued tender documents.
