Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the construction of a 1.80 km road from Mirpurkhas Umerkot road at 16th Mile Araro Bhurgari road to village Raza Arisar in Umerkot, Sindh. The Executive Engineer, Highways Division Umerkot, is procuring this road infrastructure under the Road & Infrastructure Works & Materials category. The project involves earthworks, sub-base and base course preparation, brick edging, surface dressing with bitumen, and berm earthworks. The site is located on Kunri Road, Umerkot, and requires careful execution to meet the engineering standards and local terrain challenges.
The scope includes earth embankment formation with compaction, stone metal sub-base and base courses, brick edging, and three-coat surface dressing with bitumen. Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in category CE-10 or higher for works above Rs. 4 million. Active registration with the Income Tax Department and Sindh Revenue Board is mandatory, along with submission of NTN and Sales Tax certificates. The contractor must provide a company profile, evidence of similar ongoing and completed works, machinery and equipment details, technical and managerial staff qualifications, and financial capability including bank statements confirming cash availability of 20% of the estimated cost.
