Tender Description
Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) Karachi invites qualified firms for consultancy services related to the Karachi Mobility Project Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). This project is funded by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the World Bank under the IBRD-8995-PK agreement. The consultancy aims to provide expert advisory services for the BRT system in Karachi, Sindh.

The scope includes technical and financial advisory, project management, and implementation support for the BRT system. The consultant must have at least 15 years of experience in similar projects, with PEC registration and FIDIC contract knowledge. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with World Bank guidelines and local regulations. The project requires detailed technical expertise in urban transport systems and project execution.
Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC and FBR, have relevant experience in large-scale transport projects, and demonstrate capacity to deliver within the stipulated timeframe. The contract will be awarded based on technical and financial evaluation.
