Contract for Managing Hostel Mess in Boys Hostels for 250 Students Session 2026-27

The Government College of Technology Sargodha is inviting bids for the contract to manage and operate the hostel mess in the boys hostels for approximately 250 students for the academic session 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for catering services to run the mess in three hostels: Jinnah Hostel, Iqbal Hostel, and Tipu Hostel. Items being procured: - Managing and operating mess in Jinnah Hostel for 50 students with an estimated monthly bill amount of Rs. 400,000 - Managing and operating mess in Iqbal Hostel for 50 students with an estimated monthly bill amount of Rs. 400,000 - Managing and operating mess in Tipu Hostel for 150 students with an estimated monthly bill amount of Rs. 1,200,000 The contract includes catering contract terms and conditions, general structure for the mess menu, rules for daily functioning of the mess, penalties for violation of mess rules, and rates valid for the academic session 2026-27. The earnest money is 5% of the estimated price and must be deposited with the bidding documents through DD/PO in the name of 'G.C.T SARGODHA NON SALARY ACCOUNT'. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have relevant catering or mess contractor experience and registration. Firms without relevant experience or construction-related firms are not eligible and will be rejected. The contract duration is one year with a bid validity period of 120 days. The last date and time for receiving tenders is 03-08-2026 at 01:00 PM, and the opening of tenders will be on the same day at 01:30 PM. Bidders must ensure that the bid security/earnest money is delivered in original well before the opening of bids to avoid rejection.
