Procurement of Customized Based Shower Testing System for Heavy Industries Taxila

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from reputed firms possessing NTN certificates for the procurement of a Customized Based Shower Testing System to be delivered within 30 days after signing of contract. This procurement is conducted under PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. The system will be installed at APC (F), HIT Taxila Cantt, Punjab. Items being procured: - Customized Based Shower Testing System with internal dimensions L=10m, W=4.5m, H=4.8m and external dimensions L=12m, W=6m, H=6m - Recycling tank capacity 10,000 liters with multi-stage filtration up to 20 micron - Full cone nozzles, 12 to 14 nozzles on left, right and top sides with spacing 0.5 to 0.7m and spray angle 90 to 120 degrees - PLC controlled system with manual zone activation to minimize water wastage - Floor RCC 6 to 8 inches thick with 1.5 to 2% slope and central trench drainage system - Frame and equipment weather resistant The system is designed to accommodate vehicles ranging from Hilux to Toyota Coaster size bus with shower testing from top and sides. The pump flow is 10 to 15 m3/hr with 3 to 4 bar pressure and motor power 5.5 to 7.5 kW with VFD control. The system includes manual control panel with rotary zone selector, pressure gauges, flow meter, emergency stop and pump controls. Continuous operation capacity is 5 to 6 hours with 85% water reuse efficiency. Eligibility criteria include valid NTN, Sales Tax registration, audit reports for last 3 financial years, bank statements, CNIC of CEO/Director, trade link with OEM if distributor/agent, and a judicial certificate of non-blacklisting. Bid security in the form of CDR, Bank Draft or Pay Order is required. Bids must be submitted in two envelopes (technical and financial) sealed and placed in one envelope addressed to Colonel Ali Fahad Syed, Assistant Director Procurement, Supply Chain Management Directorate, Heavy Industries Taxila, Gate No 05, Taxila Cantt. Postal order of Rs 2000/- must be enclosed with the technical bid. The bid submission deadline is 26 October 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila. Bidders must comply with all mandatory conditions and submit all required documents as per the tender instructions. Technical proposals will be evaluated first, followed by financial proposals of technically qualified bidders. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder meeting all criteria.
