Tender Description
This tender invites suppliers to provide Daily LP medicines for Medical Battalion 144 stationed at Siachin Garrison for the financial year 2026/27. The procurement is critical to ensure uninterrupted medical supplies for personnel operating in this strategically sensitive and challenging high-altitude environment.
The scope includes supply of medicines as per the approved list, with strict adherence to quality standards. The medicines must be delivered to the Medical Battalion office at Siachin, where storage and distribution will be managed. Given the remote location, logistics and timely delivery are key challenges, requiring suppliers to have robust supply chain capabilities.
Bidders must comply with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) category requirements and maintain valid FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status for the fiscal year 2025-26. Submission of Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) worth PKR 5000 is mandatory. Technical and Financial proposals must be submitted separately to avoid confusion and ensure transparent evaluation.
The deadline for submission is set for 12th March 2026 at 1300 hours, with bids opening on the same day at 1000 hours at the Medical Battalion 144 office. Interested parties should ensure all documentation is complete and submitted in sealed envelopes to the designated office address.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender documents for rebate and discount clauses, as these financial terms can significantly impact bid competitiveness. Also, confirm the validity of your CDR and ensure no lapses in tax compliance to avoid disqualification.
