Detailed Route Survey and Engineering/Design for Rerouting of Existing 500 kV & 220 kV Transmission Lines Affected by Proposed Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway

National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGCP) invites sealed proposals from eligible and qualified firms for a detailed route survey and engineering/design assignment. The project involves rerouting of existing 500 kV and 220 kV transmission lines affected by the proposed Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway. The scope includes autolotopographic survey, soil/subsoil investigation, tower spotting and make-up, plan and profile, foundation design, sag-tension/stringing charts, electrical clearance calculations, BOQ, and preparation of complete construction drawings/design documents. The assignment will be conducted in accordance with the requirements, specifications, scope of services, and conditions contained in the RFP document. Items being procured: - Detailed route survey - Engineering/design for rerouting 500 kV transmission lines - Engineering/design for rerouting 220 kV transmission lines - Autolotopographic survey - Soil/subsoil investigation - Tower spotting and make-up - Plan and profile - Foundation design - Sag-tension/stringing charts - Electrical clearance calculations - Bill of Quantities (BOQ) - Complete construction drawings/design documents The selection will be through Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) under the Single Stage - Two Envelope procurement procedure as per applicable PPRA Rules. Interested firms must be registered with Income Tax and Provisional Sales Tax Departments, be on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue, and registered with PEC in the appropriate category. The technical proposals must be submitted on or before 28th September 2026 at 10:00 AM (PST) to the Executive Engineer (TLC) Division EHV-II, NGCP, Bungalow B-2, NTPS WAPDA Colony, T.M. Khan Road, Hyderabad, Pakistan. Technical proposals will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM (PST). The procurement notice and RFP can be accessed through the relevant PPRA/PPADS and NGCP platforms. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the submission instructions and ensure all required documents, including income tax clearance certificates and PEC registration, are included. Earnest Money and bid security requirements are detailed in the RFP.
