Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the disposal of shredded waste material of currency notes at the State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) Lahore Office. Located in Lahore, Punjab, the department requires a reliable contractor to manage the collection, packing, sealing, and removal of shredded currency waste. The estimated annual quantity is 900,000 kilograms, with a reserve price of PKR 11 per kilogram. The contract duration is one year, extendable for two additional years under the same terms.
The scope includes providing quality bags and sealing materials, arranging vehicles for waste removal within seven working days of notification, and deploying sufficient labor for loading and unloading. The contractor must ensure safety of personnel and property during operations and maintain confidentiality regarding any discrepancies. The work demands logistical coordination and adherence to security protocols at the SBP premises on Mall Road, Lahore.
Bidders must be registered with tax authorities and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. They must not be blacklisted or debarred by any government or regulatory body including NACTA. A security deposit of PKR 50,000 is required with the technical bid, and a performance guarantee of PKR 150,000 must be furnished upon award. The contract is governed by Public Procurement Rules 2004, with a bid validity of 180 days. Compliance with PEC and FBR regulations for the fiscal year 2025-26 is essential.
