Disposal of Unserviceable Scrap Items at LESCO Regional Stores

Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) invites bids for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap items located at its Regional Store Shalamar, Lahore. Items being procured: - Iron Scrap (120,000 Kg) at 132KV Shamkey Grid Station - Iron/Tower Scrap (252,943 Kg) at 132KV Mohlanwal Grid Station - Disc Insulator No. 3,215 (Unserviceable) at 132KV Bhikhi Grid Station - Disc Insulator No. 2,288 (Unserviceable) at 132KV Shahkot Grid Station - Disc Insulator No. 2,999 (Unserviceable) at 132KV Mohlanwal Grid Station - Disc Insulator No. 3,940 (Unserviceable) at 132KV Bucheki Grid Station The scope includes lifting and removal of scrap materials from LESCO stores, with bidders responsible for transportation, labor, and compliance with safety protocols including provision of PPE. The scrap will be weighed and counted in the presence of LESCO's Release Committee before lifting. Sub-contracting is not allowed, and bidders must submit a fixed bid security as per the bidding documents. The successful bidder must lift the allotted scrap within 21 working days of the Work Order issuance, failing which a penalty of 1% of the bid amount per day will be imposed.
