Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors to undertake the construction of an earthen track at Iftikhar Post Marines Canal Area in Sujawal. Issued by the Pakistan Navy's Marine Field Engineering Company (MFEC), this project focuses on developing essential infrastructure to support military and local operations in the region. The work involves earthworks and track formation using suitable materials to ensure durability and accessibility in challenging terrain.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and preferably have experience with government organizations such as MES or Ministry of Defence. The site in Sujawal presents engineering challenges including soil stabilization and drainage management to maintain track integrity during seasonal changes. The project demands technical expertise in earthworks and adherence to military standards.
Bidders should ensure they hold valid PEC registration, GST registration, and NTN certificates, and must be active taxpayers. Compliance with FBR and ATL requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26 is mandatory. The tender process requires submission of earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and complete documentation to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 05 March 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:00 PM the same day at HQ 301 Creeks Brigade, District Sujawal. Interested firms must submit sealed bids physically to the Accepting Officer (OIC MFEC) within the stipulated timeframe.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and earnest money requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to bid rejection. Also, ensure all registration certificates are current and properly documented to avoid last-minute disqualifications.
