Tender Description

The Frequency Allocation Board (FAB), Islamabad, is procuring enlistment services for pharmacies and chemists to supply medicines for its employees. This procurement is specifically for pharmacies registered and operating in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, ensuring availability of medicines through a reliable panel. The scope includes provision of medicines with a minimum stock capacity of PKR 3 million, cold chain storage for sensitive medicines, and qualified pharmacists and trained staff available during operational hours. Bidders must have a valid Category A Drug License, NTN and GST registration, and must have served at least two government or semi-government organizations in the last five years. The contract is initially for one year with possible extension. The bid security of PKR 50,000 in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft, or CDR is mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by 11:00 AM on 2nd June 2026, with technical bids opened at 11:30 AM the same day at FAB Headquarters Islamabad. The evaluation includes a technical score based on outlets, cold chain facilities, staff qualifications, stock capacity, financial reports, and client list, with a minimum qualifying score of 35 out of 50. Financial bids are evaluated on the highest discount offered on retail prices. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents, including audited financial reports and blacklisting certificates, are complete and attached to avoid disqualification. Timely submission on EPADS and compliance with bid security requirements are critical for acceptance. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for pharmacies with strong infrastructure and government experience to partner with a federal statutory body in Islamabad.
