Tender Description
The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) invites qualified vendors to participate in the procurement for the establishment of NTOS at three border terminals: Taftan, Gabd, and Sost. This project is based in Rawalpindi and involves a turnkey solution including supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of Smart Racks, passive infrastructure work, and end user IT equipment. The scope covers civil renovation of IT rooms, installation of cooling units, power distribution boards, biometric access control devices, earthing systems, CO2 gas cylinders, CCTV systems, and comprehensive networking infrastructure including OFC cables, CAT-6 cables, patch panels, cabinets, and UPS units. End user equipment includes laptops, printers, scanners, and IP phone sets. The project demands branded, new equipment with OEM authorization and requires firms to have prior experience in similar projects executed independently without JV or subcontracting. Vendors must submit a technical bid with complete data sheets, tender fee of PKR 2,000, and bid security of PKR 500,000. The submission deadline is strictly enforced, and bids must be delivered to HQ NLC, Harding Road Near AFIRM Rawalpindi by hand or post. The contract includes a one-year onsite warranty and support. A performance bank guarantee of 5% of contract value is required upon award. Bidders should ensure compliance with all technical specifications and provide comprehensive documentation at installation. A practical tip for bidders is to conduct an on-site survey before submission to accurately assess site conditions and cable lengths, which will help in preparing a compliant and competitive bid. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers with strong technical capabilities and financial stability to contribute to a critical national infrastructure project.
