Excavation and Transportation of Rock Salt from Jansukh Mine No. 22 at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the excavation and transportation of rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 22 located at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha, Punjab. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Raising/excavation and separation of good quality (saleable) rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 22 with fragmentation of boulders (quantity: 25,000 metric tons annually) - Transportation of good quality rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 22 to Main Depot including loading and unloading (distance: 3.5 KM, quantity: 20,000 metric tons annually) - Transportation of good quality rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 22 directly to M/s Olympia Chemicals including loading and unloading (distance: 5.75 KM, quantity: 5,000 metric tons annually) The scope includes ensuring no mixing of fines locally called 'soor' with the rock salt. The services are to be provided over a 365-day schedule. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit bids electronically by the deadline. Bid security of PKR 600,000 is required in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft.
