Fabrication of One Standard Roof Toyota Hiace into a Fully Equipped Ambulance

The SZABMU, School of Dentistry (Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad) invites bids for the fabrication of one standard roof Toyota Hiace into a fully equipped ambulance. This procurement is for the fiscal year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. The scope of work includes the complete conversion of the vehicle to meet emergency patient transportation and medical support requirements in Islamabad. Items being procured: - Fabrication and installation of complete ambulance interior fittings, medical cabinets, panels and partition - Supply and secure installation of the main auto-loader stretcher with head-raise section and locking arrangement - Oxygen cylinder unit(s) with multi-directional changeover, regulator, connections and secure mounting - Installation of emergency/warning lights, flashers, spoilers and siren/PA system - Complete electrical wiring, sockets, switches, 12V/220V system and protective devices - Water-resistant flooring, washable wall/ceiling surfaces, partitions and cabinetry - Patient compartment layout for safe handling, paramedic seating, bench seating and equipment access - Ambulance bodywork identification artwork, bumpers, safety guard, spoilers and reflective markings - Supply of trauma first-aid box, airway management box, suction apparatus, sphygmomanometer, fire extinguisher, trash box - Complete testing, rectification and commissioning of all systems before handover - Provision of operation/maintenance information, equipment manuals, warranty cards and completion documents The technical scope requires compliance with detailed specifications including CE-certified stretcher, imported oxygen system, molded cabinetry, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. The bidder must have PEC registration in category C-6 (ME-06), valid NTN and GST registration, and demonstrate experience in ambulance fabrication. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or Banker's Cheque is required. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, October 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. Interested bidders should ensure timely registration on EPADS and comply with all eligibility criteria.
