Tender Description

This tender invites experienced contractors registered with PEC Category C6 or above and active on the FBR Active Taxpayer List to undertake the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a comprehensive firefighting and hydrant system at State Life Building No. 9, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi. The project includes installation of fire pumps (electric and diesel), jockey pumps, piping (HDPE and MS seamless steel), fire hydrants, hose reels, extinguishers, control panels, and all associated mechanical and electrical works. The system must comply with NFPA, BS, and local Civil Defence standards, ensuring full integration with the building's existing infrastructure and Building Management System (BMS). The scope covers civil works such as foundations, core cutting, pipe sleeves, and restoration of finishes. The contractor must submit detailed shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and obtain all necessary approvals. Bid security of PKR 500,000 is required in the form of Pay Order/Demand Draft. The contract duration is 180 days from the notice to commence, with a 24-month defect liability period. The contractor must provide a performance security of 10% of the contract price and comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Submission deadline is 18th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bids opening at 11:30 AM the same day.
