Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the construction of a flood protection wall at Village Haji Karim Jan, Siahgazi Awaran, under the supervision of Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), Irrigation Division Awaran. The project aims to safeguard fertile land and local communities from flood damage, a critical infrastructure development in Balochistan's challenging terrain. The work involves earthworks, concrete structures, and flood control engineering, requiring experienced contractors familiar with local soil and hydrological conditions.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or above, with specialization code CE04(ii) for Irrigation & Flood Control Systems. Firms should demonstrate financial capacity with a turnover of at least PKR 21 million in the last five years and have completed two similar projects of minimum PKR 21 million each. Compliance with the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and non-blacklisting by any government agency is mandatory. Affidavits on non-judicial stamp paper confirming document authenticity and litigation status are required.
The tender follows the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014, with a bid security of 3% of the estimated cost in the form of a bank guarantee or call deposit receipt. Tender documents are available electronically via the BPPRA portal. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the supplier dashboard by the deadline.
The submission deadline is set for 27 February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 12:00 PM at the Irrigation Office, Main Awaran Road, Awaran.
