Tender Description
The University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore, is procuring a comprehensive framework contract for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery items along with related Medical Devices. This procurement is specifically for the Children’s Hospital located on Ferozepur Road, Lahore, under the University’s SHC&ME Department. The scope includes supply of specialized medical devices and consumables essential for cardiology and cardiac surgery departments, ensuring high quality and compliance with medical standards.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the e-Punjab Acquisition & Disposal System (e-PADS) and hold valid registrations with relevant authorities including FBR and tax departments. The bidding process follows the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and the Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024. Bidders should prepare their Technical and Financial Bids carefully, ensuring submission of Earnest Money in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Bank Guarantee equal to 2% of the estimated cost. The bid validity period is 210 days from the date of bid opening.
The e-Bids must be submitted online via the e-PADS portal on or before 16th July 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 a.m. Interested suppliers should download the bidding documents from the official Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website or the University’s website. It is crucial to upload the original bid security and affidavits on time to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their technical proposals are complete and virus-free before uploading, as corrupted or unreadable files will lead to rejection. Also, bidders should monitor the portal closely for any updates or amendments. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers specializing in medical devices to engage with a reputable public health institution in Punjab.
