Framework Contract for Local Purchase of Medicine, Surgical & Disposables Items

THQ Hospital Haveli Lakha invites bids for a Framework Contract for the local purchase of Medicine, Surgical & Disposables Items for the Financial Year 2026-27 under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The procurement is managed by the Medical Superintendent office in Haveli Lakha, Punjab. Items being procured: - Multinational companies medicines - National companies medicines - Disposable surgical items (see letter for indicative rates) This tender covers medicines and surgical disposables required for hospital use. The contract is a framework agreement, allowing multiple purchases during the year. Bidders must submit a bid security of 2% of the estimated cost, amounting to PKR 100,000, in the form of Bank Draft or CDR valid for 180 days. The bid security must be submitted to the Medical Superintendent office before 11:00 AM on 3rd August 2026, or the bidder will be disqualified. The bidding documents can be downloaded from the E-Procurement Portal www.ep.punjab.gov.pk and the PPRA website http://www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Eligibility requires bidders to be well reputed companies or authorized distributors with NTN and GST registration. For medicines and surgical disposables, a valid CDSL Drug Sale License on Form-9 (Category-A) is mandatory. Bidders should preferably be located within the Tehsil or town and not outside the Health Facility District. The bid must include a single packet containing separate financial and technical proposals as per PPRA rules. The bid submission deadline is 3rd August 2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Taxes will be deducted as per government rules. NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates must be provided. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your original CDR is physically submitted to the Medical Superintendent office before the 11:00 AM deadline on 3rd August 2026 to avoid disqualification, as online submission alone is not sufficient.
