Tender Description
The Children's Hospital University of Child Health Sciences Lahore is inviting e-Bids for the procurement of a framework contract covering medical devices and surgical dressings. This tender is specifically for suppliers who can provide high-quality medical and surgical consumables to support the hospital's healthcare services in Lahore.
The procurement includes a variety of medical devices and surgical dressings essential for patient care. Bidders must be registered on the e-Punjab Acquisition & Disposal System (e-PADS) and comply with all relevant registration authorities including FBR and tax departments. The bidding process follows the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, amended to date, ensuring transparency and fairness.
Eligible bidders should have valid registration, relevant experience in supplying medical goods, and must provide a Bid Security equal to 2% of the estimated cost in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order. The technical and financial proposals must be submitted online through the e-PADS portal by the deadline. The bid validity period is 210 days from the bid opening date.
The e-Bid closing date is set for 15th July 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with the opening scheduled shortly after at 11:30 a.m. Interested suppliers should carefully prepare their technical bids to meet all specifications and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. The procuring agency emphasizes that no hard copies of bids are required, and any technical errors or internet failures during submission are the responsibility of the bidders.
A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly review the bidding documents and ensure all affidavits and bid securities are correctly uploaded on the e-PADS portal before the deadline. This will help avoid rejection due to incomplete or corrupt submissions and increase chances of successful evaluation.
