Tender Description
This tender invites experienced firms in Muzaffarabad to undertake manufacturing and repair of mechanical parts for Francis turbines at the 4.0 MW Kappa Banamullah Power Station under the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Organization. The scope covers manufacturing, repairing, installation, testing, commissioning, balancing, alignment, and overhauling of turbine parts with a capacity of 2 MW or above, ensuring compliance with ASTM standards.
The work requires firms to have their own workshop facilities and proven experience with at least two similar projects. Bidders must inspect the turbine parts on-site at the power station in Jhelum Valley to fully understand the technical requirements. The project demands precision engineering and adherence to quality materials to maintain turbine efficiency and reliability in a challenging mountainous environment.
Bidders should ensure they meet PEC registration requirements and maintain a valid FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status for the financial year 2025-26. Affidavits confirming no blacklisting or conflicts with government entities in AJK or Pakistan are mandatory. Taxes will be deducted as per prevailing AJK rules, so proper financial compliance is essential.
The submission deadline is set for 14:00 hours on 12th February 2026, with bid opening at 14:30 hours the same day at the office of the Deputy Director (O&M), Power Development Organization, Upper Chatter Housing Scheme, Muzaffarabad. Tender documents are available upon application and payment of Rs. 10,000 in favor of MD AJK PDO.
