Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply, fixing, installation, and commissioning of two grid tied solar power systems of 270KW and 450KW capacity at the Girls Hostel and Warehouse located at Ojha Campus, Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. The project involves state-of-the-art solar PV modules, grid-tied inverters, mounting structures, electrical protection equipment, cabling, earthing systems, and remote monitoring solutions. The systems are designed to optimize energy production with high efficiency and durability, suitable for Karachi's environmental conditions.
The scope covers fabrication and installation of elevated and PEB shed mounting structures, supply of Tier 1 N-type bifacial photovoltaic solar modules with 25 years warranty, and high-efficiency inverters with 10 years warranty. Electrical works include DC and AC cabling, combiner boxes, lightning arresters, grounding pits, and integration with existing electrical infrastructure. The project demands compliance with international standards such as IEC certifications and local regulatory requirements. Delivery and installation must be completed within 90 days of contract award.
Bidders must hold valid PEC registration in category C4 or above with relevant solar energy codes, active tax payer status on FBR portal, and demonstrate experience with similar projects of minimum PKR 100 million. The bid security is PKR 3,000,000 and performance security is 5% of contract value. The tender follows the Single Stage β Two Envelope Procedure with online submission through EPADS portal.
