Healthcare Insurance Services for TMC Lyari Employees and Their Family Members

Town Municipal Corporation Lyari Karachi invites sealed bids from well-reputed authorized Health Insurance Companies for providing Healthcare Insurance Services to TMC Lyari employees and their family members (beneficiaries). The procurement is for comprehensive health insurance coverage ensuring quality medical support for the employees and their families in Karachi. Items being procured: - Healthcare Insurance Services for TMC Lyari employees - Healthcare Insurance Services for family members (beneficiaries) The scope includes offering health insurance services with valid registration under GST, SRB, and FBR. Bidders must provide a certificate of incorporation, valid license to transact insurance business with SECP, NTN, SNTN, and SRB registration certificate showing service category. An affidavit from CEO, CFO, or Company Secretary confirming the firm has never been blacklisted by any government or semi-government organization is mandatory. The average annual turnover required is Rs. 500 million for the last three years, supported by audited accounts ending 30 June each year. Bids found with fake documents will be rejected and legal action taken. Bidding documents with terms and conditions can be obtained from the office of the Director (HRM) at Shahrah-e-Abdur Rahim Baloch (Chakiwara Road), Lyari Karachi, upon written request on company letterhead and payment of Rs. 5,000/- non-refundable via Pay Order in favor of Town Municipal Corporation Lyari Karachi. The procurement follows the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure as per Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended 2019). Each bidder must submit two separate sealed envelopes: one containing the Technical Proposal and the other the Financial Proposal. A bid security of 2% of the total bid cost via Pay Order in favor of TMC Lyari is required. Bidding documents will be issued from the 1st day of publication until 28-08-2026 during office hours. The last date and time for dropping bids in the tender box at the Director (HRM) office is 31-08-2026 by 2:00 pm. Opening of tenders by the Procurement Committee will be on 31-08-2026 at 3:00 pm at the same office. In case of holidays or unforeseen circumstances, bids will be accepted on the next working day at the same time and place. Bidders must ensure authorized signatures and company seals on all bidding documents. Documents can be viewed or downloaded from the SPPRA website www.pprasindh.gov.pk. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids subject to SPPRA rules.
