Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement of a High Frequency Radio Telecommunication (HF RT) System including installation and commissioning at Jinnah International Airport Karachi and Islamabad International Airport Islamabad. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) requires a reliable and advanced communication system to enhance operational efficiency and safety at these critical aviation hubs in Karachi and Islamabad. The scope includes supply, installation, and commissioning of the HF RT system, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications and operational standards.
The project involves deploying sophisticated radio communication equipment at two major airports, demanding careful handling of electronic components and adherence to aviation communication protocols. The installation will be carried out at the Logistics Center (South) in Karachi, with technical challenges including integration with existing infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted service during commissioning. Bidders must demonstrate technical expertise and provide a robust solution that meets the stringent requirements of airport communication systems.
Interested bidders should ensure they meet the PEC Category requirements and maintain 100% compliance with the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayer List (ATL) for the fiscal year 2025-26. Submission of valid GST and NTN certificates is mandatory. The tender requires earnest money in the form of an original Bid Security attached with the Technical Proposal and a copy submitted online via the PPRA EPADS portal. Compliance with all financial and technical documentation is critical to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is on the 24th of March, 2026, with bids to be submitted both electronically through the PPRA EPADS web portal and physically in a sealed envelope at the Logistics Center (South), HQs Pakistan Airports Authority, JIAP Karachi. The bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 AM. Prospective bidders are advised to register and familiarize themselves with the EPADS system well in advance to avoid technical difficulties.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to attach the original Bid Security with the hard copy Technical Bid and the copy via EPADS online submission. Also, verify the authenticity of all financial instruments submitted to avoid blacklisting and legal consequences. Check the newspaper advertisement carefully for any specific stamp duty or procedural requirements that are often overlooked.
