Hiring of Contractor for Dismantling of Retired Gas Meters & Recycling of Dismantled Aluminum Die Cast Parts for Supply of Aluminum Alloy Ai-Si12cu1 Ingots

The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) Procurement Department in Karachi invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the hiring of a contractor specialized in dismantling retired gas meters and recycling dismantled aluminum die cast parts. The recycled material will be used for the supply of Aluminum Alloy Ai-Si12cu1 ingots. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. Items being procured: - Hiring of Contractor for Dismantling of Retired Gas Meters - Recycling of Dismantled Aluminum Die Cast Parts - Supply of Aluminum Alloy Ai-Si12cu1 Ingots (Quantity: 1,100,000 Kg) The scope includes dismantling of retired gas meters, recycling of aluminum die cast parts, and production of aluminum alloy ingots with specific alloy composition Ai-Si12cu1. The contractor must have an operational furnace/melting facility with a capacity between 10 to 20 tons per day, an in-house testing facility equipped with a Metal Analyzer/Spectrometer for alloy verification, and proven manufacturing/recycling capacity of at least 1,000 tons over the last two fiscal years. SSGC reserves the right to inspect the facility to verify declared capacities. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with FBR, active on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and demonstrate relevant experience and financial strength. The bid security amount is Rs. 1,540,000 in the form of Pay Order or Bank Guarantee.
