Tender Description
Cantonment Board Clifton Karachi is procuring hiring services for various machinery and miscellaneous items specifically for the Eid-Ul-Azha 2026 sanitation operations. The procurement includes hiring of excavators with operators and fuel, dumpers, Suzuki pickups, hydraulic mini trucks, and supply of biodegradable shoppers, chicken biryani boxes, mineral water bottles, tea cups, and other related items. The scope covers offal removal from designated sites including GTS MT Parking Clifton Block-09, Katchi Abadies, and CBC areas. Additionally, establishment of sacrificial camps with tents, chairs, tables, fans, and other necessary equipment is included. This tender is crucial for maintaining sanitation and waste management during the festive period in Karachi.
The technical scope requires machinery to be operational for specified hours daily, with fuel and operators provided by the contractor. The contractor must ensure timely replacement of any faulty vehicle to avoid work stoppage. The offal disposal site will be managed by the Cantonment Board. Firms must be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List. Experience of similar services in the last three years supported by documentary evidence is mandatory. Financial stability and technical staff credentials will be evaluated. A bid security of 5% of the quoted bid price is required in the form of pay order or demand draft.
The tender follows a single stage two envelope procedure with separate technical and financial proposals. The technical bids will be opened first and evaluated on criteria including firm establishment years, similar work experience, financial status, tax certificates, and dispute-free certification. The minimum qualifying score is 50%. Financial proposals of technically qualified bidders will be opened later. Bids must be valid for 120 days. The tender fee is Rs 500 and must be paid to obtain the tender form from the Cantonment Board Clifton office.
The submission deadline is strictly enforced with no late bids accepted. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical proposals to meet all requirements and avoid disqualification. It is practical to visit the site or contact the Cantonment Board office for clarifications before submission. This ensures understanding of operational conditions and avoids surprises during contract execution. The tender offers a significant opportunity for contractors experienced in sanitation machinery hiring and event support services in Karachi.
