Tender Description
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad is procuring services for the horticulture improvement and rehabilitation of the Srinagar Highway, specifically the stretch from the Convention Center to N-5. This project focuses on enhancing the greenery and landscaping along this important highway corridor in Islamabad, aiming to improve the environmental aesthetics and road safety.
The technical scope includes planting, landscaping, and rehabilitation works along the highway. This involves soil preparation, planting of trees, shrubs, and grass, irrigation system installation, and maintenance activities to ensure sustainable horticultural development. The project site is a major urban highway, requiring careful coordination and adherence to safety standards during execution.
Eligible bidders should have relevant PEC registration in the appropriate category for landscaping or civil works, valid FBR registration, and be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in similar horticulture or landscaping projects, especially on highways or urban roads, will be advantageous. Earnest Money and CDR requirements will be specified in the bidding documents.
The tender was published on 19th June 2026, with a submission deadline on 26th June 2026. Bidders must submit their technical and financial bids electronically as per CDA’s e-bidding procedures. The submission address and detailed instructions are available in the tender documents issued by the Capital Development Authority Islamabad.
A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly review the technical specifications and site conditions before bidding. Early site visits and understanding the irrigation and maintenance requirements can help prepare a competitive and realistic bid. Also, ensure all mandatory documents, including PEC certificates and tax registrations, are up to date to avoid disqualification.
